The Research
Office supports academic research activity by managing the
pre- and post-award processes. These include identifying funding opportunities
and coordinating information about them; costing, pricing and submission
of applications; negotiating contractual terms and conditions; and providing
post-award financial administration. The office helps to develop the University’s
research strategy and manages its RAE return. It works with other University
services to protect and exploit the intellectual property that arises
from research, and maintains and develops relationships with external
funding bodies.

Presentation and Production Services
Media
Services provides a comprehensive design and production service
to the University and other clients. This includes design and production
for a range of media including print, web, signs and video. Media Services
also provides AV equipment for University teaching and conferences and
manages the booking of all University pool teaching rooms.
